By Kaddy Chung, Taipei; Steve Shen, DIGITIMES High Tech Computer (HTC) plans to venture into markets in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Myanmar, according to Jack Tong, vice president of HTC Asia Pacific.
Sales of the company's smartphones in India, Australia and Southeast Asian countries are expected to register strong growth in 2008, with unit sales in Australia, in particular, likely to double to 100,000 units during the year, Tong stated. |
